TBC, BSNL, MTNL, Airtel, and Hathway are
some of the major ISPs in India. TRAI has defined
broadband as 256 kbit/s or higher. However, many ISPs advertise their service as
broadband but don't offer the suggested speeds. Recently, Airtel and Hathway have
begun offering unlimited downloads starting from 256 kbit/s.
